ILA Scotland

TEFL courses for a tenner!

How to qualify

  • Are you over 18?
  • Do you earn £18,000 or less?
  • Do you live in Scotland?

If you answered yes to all three questions then you could get up to £200 towards your TEFL course! Apply for an individual learning account from ILA Scotland today, and get your passport to working and travelling overseas!

The ILA Scotland asks that all learners contribute £10 toward their course - that means you can get qualified to teach anywhere in the world for just a tenner!

Follow our three easy steps to apply for ILA Scotland funding

1. Request an application form

Give the ILA Scotland a ring on 0808 100 1090. It's free to call so you won't even have to top-up your credit!

2. Complete it and send it off:

Your pack will include an extensive advice booklet and a pre-paid envelope so all you have to do is get it to the post box!

3. Wait for your welcome pack:

Once your ILA Scotland account has been set up they'll send out a welcome pack. This will include your ILA Scotland account card (keep it safe because you'll need it later).

And then choose your course!

1. Choose your course

Our TEFL courses come as standard with a selection of i-to-i travel experiences, with the help of your i-to-i funding you could find yourself working with street children in La Paz or teaching English in Brazil!

2. Book it

Just give us a ring on 0870 787 2375 to book your course or travel experience. You'll need to tell your expert travel advisor that you'll be paying with your ILA Scotland account (she'll need your ILA Scotland account number so make sure you have your card on hand). Your "contribution" will need to be paid when you book.

3. Do it

The ILA Scotland will send your confirmation letter and learning token in the post. Just bring the learning token when you start your course and hand it over to your TEFL tutor. If you're taking an online course you'll need to pop it in the post.

So what are you waiting for? The sooner you apply, the sooner you can jet off to an exotic location and start the job of your dreams! Visit www.ilascotland.org.uk for further information.
