TESOL/TEFL - what's the difference?

An acronym for the long-winded 'Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages', TESOL is often used interchangeably to with other similar terms such as TEFL, TESL and TEAL. If you’re looking to teach English to non-native English speakers abroad whilst satisfying your wanderlust, you will need a TESOL or TEFL qualification. Although all of our courses are branded as 'TEFL courses', you will receive a certificate that states that you have a qualification in both TEFL and TESOL.

To get to the YHA from the Railway Station, catch the beeline free bus and get off where Waymouth joins King William, then walk down Waymouth to the hostel. The hostel is within walking distance if not carrying lots of luggage - as you walk out of the train station turn left up North Tce to King William St, right onto King William St walk about three blocks, then right onto Waymouth St.
