Teaching English in the Slovakia
Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia and is situated just a few kilometres from Vienna. It is a city that has a booming economy and is quickly becoming a major player in the new European Union. It is experiencing major changes as businesses flood here to take up the opportunities that the new markets of Eastern and Central Europe offer. There are countless opportunities for teachers to work with locals seeking careers in these new companies and language schools are opening up all over the city to meet this demand. Bratislava is sometimes called the Pearl on the Danube and that it has a relaxed Mediterranean type atmosphere. Bratislava is a seaside city without the sea. There is a rich mix of cultures and nations and just like the Viennese, the people of Bratislava also enjoy promenading through the streets of the city centre, taking time out for a coffee in any of the many cafes.
