Q. How many hours a week do TEFL teachers in Costa Rica usually work?

A. Answer:

This just depends. If you’re working in a private language school you could end up working just early mornings and evenings to avoid the midday heat, or your hours could be closer to 9-5. On average though you’ll have 25 contact hours per week with 10 hours available for preparation.
