No, it's not a silly question! While most people decide to travel abroad and teach English, there are all sorts of reasons for you to get TEFL qualified:

  • To find paid teaching work overseas
  • To use your TEFL skills in your current job (TEFL courses help with communication skills and can also help you if you work with non-native English speakers)
