Hi
I finally got my CV onto the French Job Centre site, Pole Emploi. It's a bit restrictive as any comments or detail has to contain 250 characters maximum. I therefore found it easier to mess around with my usual wording in a word document, until I had few enough characters, before copying it into the online form. My main recommendation for anyone in France doing this is to regularly save the form, but without publishing (diffuse) it. Keep going back to modify it between each entry (eg professional experience, each qualification) so you don't lose a few hours work!
Here's the link to the Pole Emploi site: http://www.pole-emploi.fr/accueil/

Hi Yvette,
Hope my comments helped before, but it looks like you are on your way. I never bothered with Pole Emploi, or any similar instrumentality. I found that personally contacting the individual language centres was more productive ..... they welcome you with open arms!
Good luck, Neil
Good Luck in your job hunt!
