Log in to leave a comment or Create an accountHey people, im going to be booking the 120 hour TEFL course with the china intership next week. Ive been reading posts on alot of people struggling with certain parts, i know you have 3 months and can re take but someone mentioned if you fail a question 3 times you fail, is this the case?
Thanx for your comments Rin, just trying to put my mind at rest by finding out every little detil possible before i book my intership. If you have any advise or comments about your experience i would love to read them. :)
Also, in the 5 months you are on the internship you will likely get other job offers in your city and probably the school you are on the internship with will ask you to stay on after.
Good luck!
Hi
For China you don't have to do a criminal record check and I had zero in my bank account when I came here. Haha.
Im about to book up on the Aug internship for china, im not planning on going there for just 5 months and coming back as im hoping for a good 2-3 years out there, is it easy enough to line another job up whilst your out there being you have more connections on the ground actully out there.
Hey people, a few questions about getting a job in china, ive heard people saying about having a certain amount of money in there account before they are acepted, this sounds silly to me, do they mean you have credit checks etc, also what is the situation with a criminal record, i have a very minor glitch on mine 7 years ago, will the effect my application??
Hello! I think the degree is more of a requirement for getting a working visa in some countries, rather than it being about having experience with teaching. I think many countries require a degree, but not all so I'm sure you'll find somewhere you want to teach!
Hope this helps :)
