Log in to leave a comment or Create an accountHi Dave, just thought I'd let you know that I have accepted a 6 month placement in China starting in August. Decided that I needed more support for my first placement and not have the worry of trying to find my own accommodation, sort out work permits etc. Still intend to return to HCMC in the future as I truly love VN and who knows we might get to meet.....I think this chalkboard is great for keeping in touch. Cheers for now. Kate.
Thanks Dave - will most certainly email you soon. Pity about your experiences on here to date. I've been down the tunnels and for the life of me I cannot work out how anyone could actually LIVE down there....i freaked out after a few minutes!!! Maybe I'm just chicken!!
Talk soon via email. Cheers, Kate.

Thanks. KATE.

Hi, I "graduated" earlier this year, and now find myself in Ho Chi Minh City working in a small private school teaching all ages and levels of abilitiy, I did not ever envisage teaching could be so rewarding after spending most of my life in a humdrum job in the uk ,it has given me a new outlook .
as for the photo its true a round peg does not always fit a square hole.....
