About Me

I am a professional photographer, IT bunny girl and language fundi. I am madly in love with a US soldier and doing everything I can to make a life of travel and adventure possible, with him.
I got tired of doing the same thing every day, and decided that TEFL was a way to get out of the rut.
I love ancient cultures and languages, and history too, tattoos, helicopters, music, art, photography, the military and animals of all kinds.

I waded through the modules for Grammar etc... I didn't do as well as I thought I would, but it has been many many years since I had to use my brain like that. I'm not beating myself up too much. I passed them all, first time. Maybe later I will go back and reattempt some of them.   I have now reached Checkpoint Two. Need to take a break before I attempt it. Brain...

Yay, I passed

I can breathe again, yay! I passed my first checkpoint. I think it was such a big deal for me because I haven't done anything like this in about 17 years... So it was that hurdle to get over, and it seems I did just fine! So now on to the next with my head held high and excited to learn!

Yes, finally somebody with experience of teaching abroad.


I want to do a TEFL Course but am apprehensive as Im unsure of the companies relability.


How have you found it and have you been on any paid internships?


 


I was thinking China Internship. Is it safe though? What is the protocol of proceedures. How do things go. Is the Online Course manageable, as I was thinking of doing a Classroom Weekend Course.

Glad you made it from Twitter to chalkboard OK - everyone on here pretty much has done a TEFL course with i-to-i (it's exclusively available for i-to-i graduates atm, but figured I'd make a special exception for you!), so just get chatting with people about how they found it, what they'd recommend etc and if you've got any questions just give us a shout!
