I'm in the middle of doing checkpoint 4 now. My aim is to get this done before the end of this week and complete the last checkpoint next week! Thought checkpoint 4 would be as long and demanding as checkpoint 3, but its actually not that bad! Still a bit tough because you have to make up good lesson plans. I think I have more respect for teachers now! All the planning they have to do on a daily basis :P

Hi Juliet!
Well for Q1 its pretty straightfoward, you have to teach students to write a letter and just follow the plan they've given you. My tip would be to give a scenario to students (that they can relate to) and then say they have to write a letter for that scenario.
For Q2, you have to think of a topic that everyone has heard of or students may find interesting. Topics can be anything, maybe you can ask students to do some research on it before doing the actual debate or discussion!
Tip for Q10 is to pick a song you like (with no swearing or too many idioms of course!) and try to think of activities you can do from the song. I would look carefully at the lyrics first before deciding on the activities.
Even if you don't pass this checkpoint the first time, the tutor can give you very good advice!

Hi Wendy. Im in middle of checkpoint 4 with only q.1,2 and 10 to go. Now I'm struggling and really unsure where to even start and think about a complaint. How to pre-teach, target reader etc. Have you any advice as I'm seriously running out of time on this one. Been at it for a week!! Awful I know. Cheers. Juliet
