Hello everyone in the throws of completing their 60 hours of TEFL On-line course work. Whew!!! I did this while working a 40 hours a week job and going to UCSB Extension TESOL Certificate Class. I did very well both on line and in class but my job....sorry to say I had to give it up. My classes were too intense and I couldn't keep up with my job and school at the same time. Too much on my plate.
So here I am and I have decided to also to an extended 20 hours more for Grammar and 10 hours for Business English and 10 hours for One-to-One.
When I am done I would like to hear of some experiences of your DREAM Job abroad. How did you do it and how long did it take to get your teaching job?
Also are there any school links you could provide me for places such as: Florence, Italy or anywhere in Italy; Hong Kong, Japan, Oman, Bejing, China?
I feel so relieved that my life in now headed into another career. I have waited a very long time to fulfill my dream to live abroad and learn different languages and teach and write.
Are there any women in their early 40's starting out in this path like I am?
