Log in to leave a comment or Create an accountHi there, I applied for the China internship, but was unsuccseful at getting a placement even though they had spaces available.
I am really upset at the whole matter as I have experience with children, and understand cultural differences. I dont have a degree though.
Hi Kayte,
Thanks for your honest and encouraging answer. I really love how everyone at i-to-i and connected with them is so candid. Other sites/ companies I looked at seemed to be sanitizing their testimonials and promotional blurbs, but here it's just straight out there. It's great because it allows us newbies to make a realisitc assessment of what we are heading into as we make our decisions. And so far nothing I've read has deterred me! :-) Kate.
HI, Just wondering if you had previous teaching experience and/ or a university degree before getting your TEFL? And do you have any advice/tips on traveling to/ living in/ teaching in China? I will hopefully be doing the Internship in Beijing in August and am about to start the 120hr online course. Thanks, Kate.
