Hey Tony! You ready to go? Did you choose the North or South?
Hey
How are you doing? Feeling all prepared for a trip of a life time? The visas are driving everyone mad. In answer to your query, on my app in the additional details box, I did say the company was linked to the China Association for International Exchange. I said the company were arranging an exchange programme, and that it wasn't paid work, so they wanted me to get an F visa. That should do the trick, as many people here seem to be telling thee embassy guys a simpiliart thing. :0) Good luck, hope to see you in Beijing!
Yes we will see each other in a few weeks which is quite a scary thought as it's all happening so fast! Are you organised. I'm fairly relaxed about it all. I know what I need to do I just need to get on and do it! hehe
Hi Tony, I'm still waiting for my china internship place to be approved, sent off the documents last week, and trying to keep focused and get on with the tefl course! I put the southern province Guangdong as my first choice and Shanghai third after Beijing as I've heard Shanghai is quite Westernised, and thought it'd be interesting to see something different, but Shanghai is meant to be amazing anyway! Also from what I can tell from the interns who've just gone out it doesnt seem to matter too much what order you put them in...!
That sounds brilliant :) I want to go to South Korea and teach for a year or so whilst saving up some money to see Japan, and then want to do Miami, California, San Fran and LA, It's possible I may also see Malaysia as I have recently made a friend from there and she says I am welcome to stay at her mums lol!
Nowhere is off my map to be honest but Korea was the first choice. I have no time limit on how long I want to stay away from England nor do I know if I'll come back or where to! I would like to have some money saved up though at the end of it all! So shall see! Whereabouts in Spain is he? Sounds like you have your end goal - what do you think you would do career wise? TEFL?
Are you on MSN? xx
well yeah i guess so! Yeah that did help actually (: I love spider diagrams and doodles, though sometimes get carried away and off the topic lol :P
I cant really remember what i put for my first choice think it was beijing then shanghai and then the other 2 but from what i heard people didnt get their first choice anyways and I wasnt really that bothered :) anywhere is an adventure. Are you planning on travelling afterwards?

Hahaha - I have one of those too... Ow no nothing too bad - mostly lack of organisation and people being in grotty apartments... I know my apartment is probably like a palace compared to anything we will get over there but clean and working is one thing I was hoping it would be!!!! Ahh well - I am definitely goin to be challenged in more ways than I can imagine on this trip - hopefully it will just enhance me!
6000 word essay - throwing stuff at the paper... any tips? :)
Haha, I ;like how you put that. I went to NYC in November 2008 - a random last minute getaway trip. Stayed in Upper East Side, Manhatten - in an apartment my friend paid for - met Katie Holmes, Jon Lithgow and Patrick Wilson after a play on broadway, went in a helicopter ride above NYC and went to the opera! was a surreal trip would defo go back! x what do you think about some (lots) of the negative comments regarding the internship?
xx
