Hey Jennifer! i was wondering if you had any tips for getting a job in Ulsan? Did you go through EPIK?
Hey Jennifer! Two days and i'll be leaving for Seoul! Soooo much to do. Hope everything is going well still :)
Hey Jennifer i will be teaching in a public school however i have not been given my age group yet, i doubt i will find out until i have finished my orientation. Which i might add i am still waiting for the dates for :P Thanks for the reassurance just want to make sure that the teaching isn't to intimidating from day one ^^ Hope all is well and you had a great christmas!

Hello Jenn, thanks for your advice. I have since purchased the TEFL course for £299 for 150 hours. I must finish it by 23rd March 2012 as I seriously can not afford to do it for any longer. I am doing a little bit each day i am enjoying the course but I would like to get it out the way. I have read somewhere that people are better off with doing the CELTA than the TEFL and that people who have done the TEFL have diffuclity finding jobs. Have you ever known anyone that has the TEFL to have difficulty, I mean this is new to me. I do not want to think that I have wasted my money :-( How is everything in South Korea?? It seems like fun but hard work. I do group work in my current job and it is very hard work due to my client group.
Hey! Hows the actual teaching going? I am hearing some horror stories about some peoples schools and praying for a good one myself! Hope its going well :)
Many thanks for replying. I want to travel abraod but it is more of a plan b option but it is what I have always wanted to do. If I wanted to go to South Korea in August, I need to find out the date that I should apply, but I need to buy my telf at 140 hours. I think I will by it whilst it is half price and then I will always have the qualification :-) I find your posts very informative and will follow them to keep up to date with how things are going.
Hello Jennifer, I am i awe of how confident you are about travelling. i have always wanted to travel and if things do not go according to plan this year then I will think about teaching english abroad. I will look forward to following your journey :-)
Hey thanks for the reply, Some things like essentials to take with you and what you wished you took with you but forgot! Did you learn any Korean before you went? And even after you got there is there how was the journey to the school anything you would do differently now you know all about it? :)
I have probably forgot loads of questions but there are a few. Hows it going so far? Hope your enjoying it!
Ash.
