Hey there - im heading to Bangkok in May ont he 5 month placement and I was just wondering what the state of the city is in after the reported riots over there - from an insider's point of view? (you know how the media like to exaggerate) Is it as bad as it sounds?
Would be a great help if you have any news.

After completing the i-to-i online and weekend courses I am now teaching in Bangkok, at a state primary school during the week and a language school at weekends. Going OK so far...
