I haven't worked abroad before, I'm actually still at university just doing my placement year at i-to-i so im hoping to work abroad for a year or so once i've graduated. But I know the whole process can be a quite daunting, there is so much to think about. Have you had any previous teaching experience?
If you haven't had any previous teaching experience, you may want to consider doing an internship. This is a great option for people who are new to the TEFL world as it provides you with help and support throughout the whole internship. We actually have an internship in Thailand coming up in May 2011 for 5 months, this may be something you want to consider doing to help ease your worries!
If you think this might be for you, you can get more information here:

Hope this helps you!
