Experiencing China../

Ahh China, where to begin?! :-) Firstly, can I say that for the record, Chinese food that us westeners eat at home, is not REAL Chinese food!! I haven't for the life of me seen a sweet and sour, curry, chicken ball, thai sweet chilli dish anywhere! The food here is authentic and spicy, and sooo good! Ah not too worry, my rep told me it's practically unheard of that anyone gets rejected from the program..so id say your good to go!!:P I haven't looked at flights as of yet but I was talking to Jessica and Kim and they are going over for Chinese new year so I might go then..not sure!! Have to get my visa first. I just finished the course yesterday, so I'm happy out!! We'l have to celebrate your 21st China style..!!:D Not sure exactly, I've come across 3 or 4 but theres prob more Irish going!!  Won't find it now..can't wait..but I'l prob have a nervous breakdown the week before I leave!!!:O haha!!

Hey Steph, how are you?


I'm actually pretty much sorted now, completed the course, got my visa back, and booked my flights, so just need to send a scanned copy of the visa to i-to-i and then finish off getting my injections done. Pretty surprised actually as I'm not an organised person at all!


 


So whats your progress at the moment? When are you planning on arriving? I'm so excited, once christmas is out of the way I think the nerves will kick in!

Nothing booked yet but hoping to get it done in the next couple of days. Getting close now so I should probably start getting it together.


You have any plans? Thinking of going a few days early for New Years.

Yeh it'll hopefully be fairly cheap from here:) I was going to go for the 5th but I think it might actually start on the 5th?? I'm not 100% sure so I think I'll go a few days early, maybe even for new years:)

Hi Steph! I just signed up to this the other day as well. How is your course going? I decided to go at the last minute and now pulling late nights trying to get through it!


Oh and I'm Rick, from Australia. It seems like there's heaps of people from Ireland, I haven't found any other aussies yet!
