Hi Stef!
Welcome to Chalkboard!
Congratulations on starting your course!
I'm sure you've got a mix of emotions but don’t worry, we're a friendly bunch of TEFLers on here so if you need any advice or have any questions then this is the place to be!
Do you have any ideas in mind as to where you'd like to teach?
Joining some of our groups is a great place to start. (Just click on the 'Groups' tab at the top of this page!)
Give me a shout if you have any questions at all!

just done my first assesment level 1... passed woo! butttt for someone who did english lit and language at a level and an english degree i suck at grammar!!!
so... i've just signed up for the 140 hour combined tefl course..... terrified... excited... nervous.... pressure! aaaah! someone give me a clue as to what im in for is it horrendously hard... bear in mind im not doing a great deal at the min so this will be my primary focus.... also how difficult is it to get positions, preferably short term 3 months or less , im thinking summer jobs etc ... any reassurance would be appreciated. ive just finished my uni degree in english and have found meself for the first time in my life with nothing to do and no deadline etc (hence the course) thanks :D stef x
