OK! So I'm back in Belgrade, Serbia!!! Have been since the 29th of August. Started a Serbian language course after reading that being in a language course could give me access to an extended stay permit over 90 days. HOWEVER, the language course (and all of them that are Serbian for Foreigners) cannot give the proper documents to achieve such a thing, due to the way the Ministry of Education classifies them.. this put a HUGE thorn in my situation. BUT! My Serbian teacher and the course works with a language school. My teacher talked to someone in the school and said I should call him. I made the call... I meet with him next week to discuss a possible job!!! I could have two even! Teaching English and working with an organization that helps foreigners living in Belgrade!!
This makes me happy!!! And this all happens right after my birthday which is Friday (the 10th)... so it's like a hopeful belated birthday!! Woohoo!! I love good news when it comes to work and my legal status here in Serbia! I'm all for a job and a visa, and being able to stay enrolled in my language course.
So everything I can cross, is crossed!!! Hoping my meeting with Mr. Aleksandar Urošević goes well next week! I don't even need to have a ton of money or anything. I have a place to stay! Just need money to help out Nemanja and his family and for personal wants and needs like good winter clothes to stand up to Serbia's winter!!!! Hahahah
*does happy dance* So yep! Hopefully things work out! Hopefully the beginning of my 25th year will be filled with great news and new opportunities!!
