Well as a few of you know.. Ukraine hasn't been the best to me. Still isn't unfortunately. But I do love the girls I work with. We all hate the school and the owners (married couple playing manager and director).
I've been lost in some shit section of town. Wouldn't be an issue too much but Donetsk doesn't believe in street signs. And of course, I don't know Russian. Can we say interesting? My manager came and got me. I thought he'd take me to my place as I live with his mother.. nope.. he dropped me off at a bus station I was familiar with and said "Have fun" pretty much. Yeah.. love how they treat foreigners and teachers here.
On a lighter note, I have found ways to be back in Serbia legally as that's a big issue for me right now since they've changed the laws for foreigners. But I'm glad to have found something legal. It won't be work, not yet at least, but it could give me 9 months in Serbia without problems. Even better plus as if not I'd only have 90 days. I'll take 9 months!!
In that time I'll still continue to look for work and see what can happen. Just waiting to hear back from some people about the situatin to see if it's possible and how it'll cost me.
Other than that.. I'm just taking it day by day here in Donetsk, eating my apple that has no flavor really and dealing with my nose bleeds that have started since I've been here. Not fun. Ugh.
So yeah.. we'll see what happens. Could be back in Serbia by Sept 1st! That would make my year!

Thanks Honor. No worries.. as soon something happens you'll know! I have to vent somewhere where others understand being in foreign places and how they don't always work out.
I've just waiting for some emails... but as I told Tess (Teoc) if it's God's plan to have me back in Serbia, I will.. if not then I'll do my bidding here in Ukraine as I'm supposed to learn something from this if that's the case.
So we'll see what happens.
Aw, that's a relief that you've at least got a legal way back into Serbia - and good news too that you get on with the other girls at your school - hope things keep looking up for you - keep us posted on what you end up doing!
