Most call me Kiki. I recently moved to Belgrade, Serbia to be with my boyfriend and to hopefully get a job teaching English using my first TEFL certification. This will be my second TEFL certification. I am from Memphis, TN, USA but originally born in North Carolina. If I cannot stay in Belgrade with the coming school year I hope to end up in a neighboring Slavic country, with Ukraine on the top of my list. My father's side of the family is Ukrainian so I'd love to be able to know what my heritage is like. Other than that I just love experiencing life, meeting new people, and never accepting no for an answer.

Hi Kiki! I was referred to you because you may be able to give me some advice. Funny, I live in Charlotte North Carolina. I have been in the USA for 14 years, but I am originally from Odessa, Ukraine. I was 16 when I left to come to the States. I have a degree from the US, and my husband is a native speaker from the USA but no degree. We both have American citizenships. I would love for us to teach in Europe. I hear it is very difficult to get work visas there for Americans. Considering all my factors, what are my chances do you think? I really don't want to go so far to Asia where it may be easier to find work... I want to be closer to where I come from. Prague, sounds beautiful, open to other European places. Please advise. Thank you so much!!! Anya
Well that is certainly discouraging, but thank-you for your prompt response. I have sent you a friend request on facebook, and I look forward to speaking with you further.
