About Me
I currently live in Bristol, 30 years of age and wanting a complete change from recruitment. So I gave up my job and have booked a plane ticket to Thailand on the 3rd April. I went to Cambodia, Vietnam and the PI last year for a holiday, so I may do a return visit but I also want to venture to Africa, Nepal, Canada and Argentina. I want to do some volunteer work while I am away and this TEFL course was mentioned, thought it would keep me out of trouble for a bit and maybe extend my travels.

checkpoint 2 completed, bit of an educated guess on quite a few of the questions does anyone else struggle with the different tenses? I think i get it and then a sentance completely throws me, I feel sorry for anyone trying to learn English, wish i had a teacher who could make it more fun for me!

Just passed first section of checkpoint 2, on reviewing the incorrect answers the prepositions question, (what a bummer of a questions that is) do you get the answers after the whole of the checkpoint is completed? this questions is now annoying me as I gave it another attempt and still have 7,8 and 9 incorrect. at least i can go on to the next stage though.

Well done!! I couldn't find the marks in my first checkpoint either...
You'll be happy to know the Grammar module checkpoint consists of quizzes so it's not too stressful! I'm just starting module 6 now, quite like the quizzes but i don't think they really prepare you for the real assessments! I'll prob still be working on the checkpoint when you start it...
I'm on maternity leave at the moment and decided to do the course in an attempt to stay at home longer. Might try and get some private classes on the go. Also my husband is peruvian and really wants to go back home for a while so it would prob help me find work. Who knows! Your plan sounds great! April's not far away, you must be really excited! x
