I haven't booked yet. I am a little nervous about it and am trying to do as much research as possible before I take the plunge.

I've read some negative stories about i-to-i and the training, which is the main thing making me hesitant. I am also concerned about the same things as you - being placed alone in the middle of nowhere without any support!

I've never travelled overseas and haven't been anywhere by myself, which makes this even more scary! I really want to see the world though and am also planning on going back to Uni to do teaching at some point, so the Thai internship does seem perfect.

Let me know if you find any more reviews of the program or if you go ahead and book.

Hey! I saw a couple of bad reviews  before i booked too,which was swaying my decision cos noone wants to be abandoned in Thaliand lol! But i also have seen i to i reply to them and say they were sorting stuff out which is reassuring, esp as i to i says we have a 24 hour contact!

I have seen a couple of things on the fb group too about people not being given full info but they all seem really happy about going still so it's probably just minor things!

There is one girl on there whose comment i read saying how much of a great time she was having too! :D

Oooh well good luck with it all! yeah i know, that's the only thing I'm worried about too! Not placed with anyone and out in the sticks...ahhh! fingers crossed that won't happen.

I haven't done either before really. Travelling... I've been to a number of countries but not full on travelling. And teaching i've had work experience etc but not really at all! so it's all going to be very new! :) have you? xx

i have indeed! very exciting!! actually can't wait to get away now! I literally just signed up. i was browsing tefl courses at work and then saw the internship and just thought it was perfect so signed up the next day! what about you? have you read some of the blogs on here people have done from past internships? some of it sounds really cool but some also doesn't...lol worrying! i'm sure whatever happens it'll still be an amazing experience!
