Hmmmm i hate these things,, well Im Sophia, Im 24, Im just started on my round the world adventure- 4 years in total! Ive planned to stay away from the UK for as long as possible due the amount of people i murdered and to escape my student loan...
Not really ;) I'm just trying to get the most out of life after slogging my guts off at uni for 5 years and qualifying in Architecture, to finish uni at the time of the recession; ie no jobs! Soooo doing my TEFL was the most logical step. Plus I absolutely love children.. I think i relate to them in a fantastic way- crazy singing, crazy dancing and seeing their progress when they've learn't something new is far more rewarding than anything else I've ever done!
My mum is Venezuelan so Ive always had this desire to travel and see the world, and I love to learn new languages, although I'm terrible at learning unless I live in the actual country ;)
So I'm now in China :) Feb 2010. I left England in November! So far I have freestyled myself through the following countries to get here (I took the long route!):
Indonesia; Bali, Lombok, Gilli Island
Singapore & Malaysia
Thailand
Laos
Cambodia
I start my teaching job on Monday and Im actually very nervous! I'll keep you updated on my progress :)
I also love beers :) Notice the plural?? Hmmmmm
