I'm a 27 year-old university student who served in the U.S. Air Force for 8 years right out of high school.  I've been in school since August 2009 and hope to graduate by the end of 2012.  I've traveled around the world many times since I was born and lived in 5 countries.  My goal is to travel the world and teach English to those who want to learn it...

To anyone who knows, what determines a teacher's earning potential when teaching abroad? From browsing the "TEFL Jobs Abroad" listings and teaching positions here on "i-to-i", my understanding is that having an undergraduate degree in virtually discipline is a relative deal-breaker when being interviewed and recruited by teaching agencies.
