My girlfriend and I have decided to take a 20 hour classroom course 3 weeks before we go to China just so we feel a little more confident while we are out there. We have never taught before so need the confidence. What is your status in regards to TEFL?

Welcome to Chalkboard. That's great you're thinking about TEFL, have you thought about where you would like to go if you decide it's for you?
To get you started on the site you may want to take a look at the groups to get a good idea of what teaching in different countries is like.
