Well, I have been there before and I often think back fondly to my time over there. I think it is a beautiful country with a great history, people are friendly and there is a lot to see and visit over there. But the most important thing will be the opportunity to teach English over there!
Most of the people think of the Pyramids of Giza, but there is more…
Besides the capital city Cairo, they also have other beautiful places to go, like Hurghada and Luxor. Cairo is huge, it is the largest city in Africa. It also has the most educational schools of Egypt. If you want to get out of the big city for a weekend trip for example you should go to Hurghada it has about 36 km of seashore, so it is great for water sports, especially scuba diving. And for the cultural aspect you should visit Luxor, it is known as the world’s largest open air museum and it is a couple of hours from Hurghada, you can visit the Luxor temple, Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings and the Tombs of the Nobles and much more. Luxor is the place which I loved the most. Egypt is a cheap country so you can visit all beautiful places Egypt has to offer. For example a 3-course meal is 15 Euros including drinks and a flight from Cairo to Hurghada will cost you around 60 Euros.
Did I get you interested in Egypt???
The main foreign language taught over there is English. They have a large industry and are always looking for new English teachers. So what are you waiting for, take a look on the website at the Egypt teaching guide!!!
