Chalkboard is i-to-i's TEFL community.
It is currently still in testing phase which could mean you find the odd bug!
Q: What is i-to-i Chalkboard? A: It's the online community of TEFL specialists i-to-i.com

Born and bred in boozy brewery town, Burton-on-Trent, in the Midlands, UK (in between Derby and Birmingham, for those who are wondering "WHERE!?" ;-) ). I have travelled various countries worldwide and became interested in TEFL from a number of friends (fellow travellers and home birds, alike) who have travelled and earned a good salary abroad! I currently work for i-to-i at their Irish office in the picturesque seaside town of Dungarvan (in County Waterford, on the south-east coast), so if you have any queries about our TEFL courses, jobs abroad and travelling in general, I'm your girl, so fire away!

ChalkBoard is a fab way to network with people who are doing TEFL and planning on teaching abroad, to swap tips and advice regarding travel and finding jobs! Feel free to ask me too :)
Hi! Thanks for the friend request :)
what are you're tips for getting A job? fingers crossed I will be qualified as of 24th of January and finish my mind numbing 9-5 job at the end of March. I really want to live and work in Italy, preferably the south or Sicily, or South America (dream destination as I know it's a bit tough to get work there)
Also...do you know if i-to-i provide a service for those who are on the 120-hour course for applying for jobs...I vaguely recall something about them asking where we would like to teach and helping us along with things?
I'm soo nervous/excited about everything, I've traveled a bit before but it was always with a friend, I've never packed up and left to go somewhere to live/work/play all on my own!! eek!!
Any tips would help!! Apologies for all the hounding questions!! :)
