Riots in Thailand

So, it's all over the news and I am starting to panic. Even though I am going to be based down south of Thailand, I still need to go and transfer flights at Bangkok airport.

Is anyone out there at the moment and are you affected by the riots? If so how?

Anyone got any advice on what to do in situation like this?
