Haven't written for a while but by the look of things my last post is keeping quite a few people entertained... hee hee...
So, since I last wrote, the world has been pretty busy with Chinese New Years / Valentine's Day and now Pancake day today. Hope you all have been having as much fun as I have celebrating. Plenty of Dim Sums and a lot of card exchanges (Thank God for moonpig.com!).
Even with all the partying - I am proud to say I have completed my 60 hours and now just need to do the 4 fringe modules before I can say I have done my 120! Thanks to i-to-i, my assignments were marked pretty quickly last week. Even though I struggled with a few (lesson plans are quite complicated especially when I think too much about the details!), 2nd attempts on assignments are always a bonus!
I have also heard from the nice lady in Thailand saying I can expect my paperwork sometime this week so hopefully I will be making my visa urn to London in the next couple of weeks and definitely before I go to Spain.
Am really excited about Spain now. Have had a few of my "colleagues" writing to me already suggesting for meet up before, which make the trip more real. Apparently it's not that warm over there at the moment and we are advised to pack warm clothes?! Come on - it's Spain! It can't be that cold!
Only have 16 days before I head off - I am already having the typical female dilemma of what to pack! It's very difficult to choose what to leave behind... all my technologies are a must - IPod, phone, netbook - but what about shoes, clothes, bags, make up, toiletries etc.
What have you left at home which you wished you have brought with you on your placement?

Wow! Shipping a car!! Hardcore!
Why not? My dad took a Rolls Royce Phantom 2 to Ecuador, from Wales, in 1973!
If I forgot my computer, I think I would be devastated and then at the point I would starting crying. And after all the crying is over, I would demand that somebody ship my computer over to my new place.
Ooo - spain sounds exciting - you'll have to keep us posted with how you get on!
In terms of what I left home with that I wished I'd took it's kind of the other way round. I wished that I'd taken a lot less stuff as ended up being weighed down like a very disgruntled packhorse. So, my advice would be to look at everything you've got, then halve it and take some travel wash with you so you can wash what you've got while you're out there.
Best of luck with it and congrats on passing the 60 hour bit of your course!
