Hey all!
Sorry for disappearing for a while. Took a little break from starting at my computer screen when I confirmed my travel plans.
No worries as am back now and full throttle again on my online TEFL course! Just waiting for my assessment 7 to be marked at the moment...
Just want to share something with you incase you don't already know - my friend who got a job out in South Korea recommended me to get my CRB basic disclosure from the Scotland Disclosure website. You can do it online if you have lived in the address for over 3 years or something, or you can ask them to send you a hard copy app form. But the best part is - according to their website - their SLA for 2010 is to have the app processed in 14 days. I sent mine off a couple of weeks ago as I sent it by post and got mine back today. It was only 20 something quid!!!
Awesome!!!

Hi Katie.
I think as long as you are a UK citizen then yes. Put it this way, I am not Scottish either!
Best to check the website for details. Sorry can't help any further.
Good luck.
Sandy
Hi Sandy, can anyone get a CRB check from the Scotland website? I'm not Scottish or live in Scotland so can I still get it?
CRB's are a bit of a pain though aren't they. As soon as you get one they are basically out of date. I was thinking of getting one but i basically need to wait until just before i leave i think. Same with the medical that we have to get for the Chinese work visa. They don't like it to be more than 3 months old or its 'out of date' >_<
