About Me
Hi, my name is Roger and I live in Stowmarket, Suffolk, I am 46 years old, single father with 2 children.
I have always wanted to teach the English Language in either Russia or the Ukraine, as I have been to these countries and enjoy the people and the culture.
I love to read, study and learn new languages. I love to travel around the world and hope soon to relocate and begin a new life of teaching.
I guess i have come to a point in my life where i want something new, so i decided to train as a teacher and give something back. I have looked at other courses but feel this is the best course for my requirements.

Hi to all my friends Just got back from Ukraine looking for work. Had the opportunity to teach in a few schools as a guess speaker and one school was so pleased with my lessons & hours non stop teaching that they want me to return again. I will be featured on the school website in a video aswell as the gallery section.Even the kids wanted photos with me to show family members.

Hi everyone, last night for 6 hours i was working on checkpoint 5, answered all but one question. Save without submitting as i was tired. Came back tonight to finish and found it had not saved. Check point 5 was a nightmare, at first spent a long time on it then the safe button didnt save the work so had to start again. Finally completed the work and moved onto Grammer which i completed all the exercises today to maybe tonight i will attempt the assessment. Also had a look at the business teaching that looks fun.
How you getting on with checkpoint 5, did you manage to finish it.

Welcome to the TEFL world. I'm doing the 140hr course and just done Checkpoint 4 (still waiting for the results,fingers crossed) I know exactly what you mean about the grammar, it really got my brain working again :-)

Thank you very much, just started the course and now realise how rusty I am, forgotten so much over the years, but i am determined to suceed, just need to study hard, research and read books, and hopoe i have enough brains left to assorb the knowledge.
Hello! Thanks for the friend request. :) I do hope you find something in UA or RU. I'm in RS right now and am here permanently. My respect goes to you for bringing up your children without the Mum! And yes I didn't think about Birthday money! I just spoke to my Dad and he is happy to help me because he know's it's really important for me. And it's strange how much we have in common haha! I'm glad for your parents that they got back together and they are happy:-) &I won't give up! I really want to make the most out of my life and yes I am going back to school on Tuesday so I am going to talk to teachers to see if they have any guidance for me. That's definitely a good idea! I have to go now to revise, but thank you so much for the help and hopefully we will speak soon!
