hi Roddy69.
Hope you are well. Nice to met you. Why do you want to teach in South America?
Best of luck with your plans.

Erin, where do I find my pdf to down load the certificate on to my computer
Hi there!
You would need to dowload the PDF version of your certificate to your computer.
Do you still have access to your course?
Hi There!
I'd just like to welcome you to Chalkboard. Great to see you already have some plans as to where you'd like to teach!
It looks like you're finding your way around the site pretty nicely but please feel free to let me know if you have any questions at all!
Thanks,
Erin
Hi,
If you want to brush up on your Spanish, I'd recommend a podcast called Notes In Spanish. You can also get PDF sheets to with it but you have to pay for those. The podcast is free and easy to download from the website and you can get a newsletter too. They do all levels, it's about 15 minutes in length and very well designed. I went through loads before I settled on this one - there's a wee bit of grammar and plenty of conversational vocabulary.

Good luck! South America is fantastic!
I took the 140 hour course I was doing alright until I got to check point 3 everyones nightmare but I have finished my online course now so If you get stuck be free to ask me,I have to improve my spanish because I would like to go to South America one day. xx
Hi, like you I'm a bit older and planning a career/lifestyle change. My plan is to go to Spain. I have just passed checkpoint 3. I'm not quiet sure how I managed that as I found it quiet demanding and it has been a long time since I left school (it was O'levels back in my day). I think it's just getting my head around the grammar, but that said it is all falling into place slowly but surely. Which TEFL course did you sign up to and how are you finding it xx
I didn't think I would be doing this late in my life now, however it is a new challenge for me and totally different to what I have been doing before, waiting now to have my first class if anyone can remember there first class drop by and let me know about what they experience.
