So, I've been teaching abroad now for nearly two years, with only a short holiday in England last Christmas. And now, finally, I'm so ready to go home. This is a true story which took place at Seoul airport after my trip to Malaysia. All I want to know is, God, why do you always pick on me??.... So, I was standing in the airport waiting for my rucksack to come round on the conveyer belt. I finally spot it and pick it up when I notice its got a massive tear in it. hi just wondering about your job in korea? is your accommodation included and how did u go about getting the job? really want to go travelling to teach but terrified at the idea of going alone any tips/advice would be brilliant x

I was wondering if you could help me. I'm a little unsure of how restricted i actually am, due to my lack of a degree. Do you think this line of work is unfruitful, maybe even pointless if you don't have one?

I saw your last post and i have been eating my fill of sausage sandwiches and sunday roasts! :P Just thought i would let you know i am flying to Seoul in 2 days! (Can't believe where the time has gone!) Thanks again for all your advice getting me to this stage.

Thanks for the advice lol :P I may just have to stuff my suitcase full of haribo and dairy milk! And i will endeavour to eat roast dinners from now until february ;) As for the language i dont expect to be an expert but if i can order some food and water to survive my first solo days in Seoul then that will be great lol! The waiting is terrible and i have been told a few horror stories about having to prepare an instant lesson plan when the teachers change their mind about you having a free class. I think its time i re studied my TEFL! :P

Hey hey. Hows things going? Hope everything is still going great! I thought it was bad during the application process submitting everything early has left me literally having to wait months now! Just wanna get out to SK. Any advice for me on preparing for Korea? I recently got the Korean rosetta stone programme so gonna try and learn some basics before i go. And thinking of heading out to Seoul 3-4 days before orientation to get settled in and see the sights :)

damn...it looks like i didn't get the job afterall. was looking well forward to working there aswel. oh well, atleast with the money i've saved up i can think about having a good holiday over there now lol

hey there, the interview went ok but i doubt i get the job. i think the morning voice just about smacked the whole thing downwards. just wasn't prepared for it at all. i still have my fingers crossed though and pray million times more then i would do lol i'll know my fate in a couple of days.
