Interviews over!

Okay, don't know if anyones been reading my blogs, but i had two interviews this past week for teaching English in China.

One of the interviews was just an informal phone call, she said that she just wanted to hear our voices to make sure she could understand us! :D It went well, though only lasted about 5 minutes and i've since found out she wanted it to be longer. So i think we need to talk to her again.

The second was over Skype with a webcam, we were told to do a demo lesson and role play teaching oral english as teacher/student. This was really nerve wracking and i was up til 4am this morning trying to plan what to do! So, i had lots of stuff written down and was ready to do it after talking to her for about 40 minutes by instant message. Then my microphone started to play up so she couldn't hear me properly! Not properly enough to do a whole demo anyway. She just suggested that i read a passage in English. Again i think it was just to see what we looked like and sounded like!

All in all i think things went well for us! I have had the contract from one school and am awaiting the contract from the one i did the failed demo with this morning... So fingers crossed!
