Im a very busy person with a bubbly personality. I have many interests. I love art, photography, theatre, reading, walking and dance. I am currently finishing my Honours degree in creative practice. I've been fascinated with the far east since I was little and this is my chance to really immerse myself into their culture and way of life. It's great to hear from other people who are heading out to Thailand too! Have you found any good books or lessons? I'm starting to gather up some stationary stuff (pens, pencils, pritstick etc.) to take just incase. I really hope wherever we are we can all meet up at the weekends and see some of the amazing landmarks. Speak soon, Mark xx

The thailand internship will be amazing, I was looking into that as well. The aim is to stay out longer, want to travel a bit after. Round a few places in china and then do a stint in thailand then possibly move on to australia. Ive not planned anything though so am pretty much just guna wing it when i am out there. You planned anything after the internship? When does that run till? x

I see youve signed upto the Thailand Internship like me - have you ever done anything like this before? Im completely new to the whole thing and have only just realised how much there is to do before we actually get out there! Wherebaouts are you from?

oh, i didnt know England had weather like that. yeah i guess it is sunny california, but i dont like it here. I dont plan on coming back after i leave. thanks for the wishes. it was all fine, i just have to getr labs done and go talk to the county health dept about shots. oh yay! lol

oooh, well thats unfortunate. i dont feel so unlucky now though. lol yeah, i just found out today that my appointment is tomorrow! whoops! good thing i found out! so i should ask for malaria tablets too? im sure he will know all of this, but i like to know what im doing for the most part ya know?
i live in Northern Cali. about an hour north of Sacramento. I live in a small town, but i always say Chico or Sacramento. and nice weather?? i wish! haha it just started getting nice two days ago, but before it was about 105 degrees and humid! no fun trying to play basketball in that weather. whats the weather like there for you? i have no idea what it is like in England. :"\

only 500-600 euros? thats awesome! lol thats cheaper than my flight. in dollars is around $1300 so that would be about 100 euros if im correct. ugh. but oh well. lol
and yeah, i actually have a doctors appointment on thursday to talk to him about all of that stuff. should be fun getting all of those shots! haha have you started getting yours yet? or do you already have them from previous travel?
i looked into the travel insurance and its about $3 a day from what i found! not looking forward to that! lol it sounds cheap, but when it all adds up. man...
anyways, i am 23yrs old. it seems a lot of people going are 21.. you are 21 correct?
oh i forgot to ask before, where do you have family in California? just curious since i live in Cali too.

thank God it doesnt take that long! i hate waiting too! sounds like you got quite a bit on your plate for the time ahead! thats good though. :") im not sure exactly what i will be doing after this, but i hope it involves traveling.
I just got my reply to the first learning module thing and passed, so now i can get on with getting this certificate done! so how much are flights for you to Thailand? they are pretty expensive from here... :"\
do you know if we get our visas ourselves or if they will give us them when we arrive? im just not sure on how a lot of this works, unfortunately.
