Making headway

Now at third checkpoint. Have really enjoyed the course so far. Will be doing my 20 hour weekend next weekend (11/12 May), and then move onto specialised modules. Business English, Teaching large groups. Can't wait to get finished, so that I can find a placement and start the big adventure. Duration of Contracts

I have been looking at various jobs on the TEFL jobs board and I'm wondering how important the stated duration of contract is. I will be free from now until September 2013 (5 months) but nearly all of the jobs I look up that don't list an undergraduate degree as a requirment say in the fine print that the contract is for one year.
