Phonemic script. . oh dear! Whilst learning German I managed to skirt around learning the international script because I was surrounded by native speakers but now I have no excuses.  Does anyone else have a problem with this?  I'd rather learn another ten tenses! Guess I'm going to have to sit down and learn the thing parrot fashion until it begins to make sense. Any tips anyone?

I am also looking into teaching English in Japan. From what I've seen on job postings many require a Bachelors Degree to get your work Visa sponsored. I believe the main issue is getting an approved Visa to work in Japan and it seems without the university degree it is difficult, but not impossible.
