Great post Kate! I am also loving the spring here in Nanjing as well. I have been spending my days off exploring the many parks and places with historical significance. To me it feels like summer now as the temperature is already quite warm and it is great to be outside! Good for you with picking up the language. I was in classes but they were so difficult that I felt like I wasn't getting anywhere so I stopped attending. I am able to recognize some words when people are talking though - your right, the speaking part is very difficult. Mandarin is so different from English :)

Sounds pleasant ! spring has finally hit in the UK too, although it will probably drag out and be called our summer too ! who knows... the Great British summers are a little hit and miss
