Hey, thanks for your nice comments! It's great to see that there is such a strong community out there, enjoying everything this life style has to offer. It gives confidence to those of us just setting out, to know there are people out there having the time of their lives, and we're not the only one prepared to take this challenge on!

I haven't chosen what course I wish to do yet. There seems to be a lot worth reading up on the subject, so still taking my time, trying to learn all I can before I make a decision. Things do seem to vary country to country, so picking the right course for the right country seems important, unless anyone has found that is largely universal??

I must admit, every day I'm sat at work now, staring at my computer screens, just makes me more determined to realise the possibility that I could be spending my day doing something a lot more enjoyable in life... and somewhere with a climate just a little warmer than England approaching winter!

Best of luck as you begin your exciting adventure. I have been doing this for 14 months now and can only say positive things. Its been, and continues to be, an absolute blast. Living and working in a completely different culture is awesome. I only wish I had discovered this wonderful life much earlier but never fear I intend to enjoy it for many years to come!!
