Hahaha amazing! You know what, we have squatty potties and western toilets in my school, and i actually prefer the squats! Everyone manages to pour water all over the western ones, so you stay nice and dry with the potties :D there are no buckets for toilet roll though..i've been working here a month and i'm still too embarrased to ask what everyone does with their loo roll if they need a number 2...! :D

I am living in Asia, but cannot deal with squat toilet at all, except in a very very very urgent moment.

Positive: it makes you spend less time in the toilet so you can have more drinking time :-)

I must have spent too much time in Asia as I am quite used to using the squat loo......not by choice but necessity!!! All I can say is girls.....you now know why those squats at the gym are SO important!!!!

I'm not too bothered by the squat toilets but I can't quite get the hang of them, I have to take one leg out of my trousers and pants to be able to do it. As for peemates I would rather just wet myself than try that again.

Ha! Shewee! I've never heard of it before but I'm still laughing.  I can't imagine going about a festi with one of those in my trousers I must say!  Yeah Leon, that's right, using your left hand is a serious issue in some places.  Turkey's the furthest east I've been but I've heard of people causing serious offence by handling fruit and stuff left handed.  In Turkey when they serve drinks on public transport they wear a plastic glove on that hand.  Great country though, really beautiful.

I have never been to Europe.. Asia is kind of my thing.. so after this experience I may have some new friends and a fun reason to travel to Europe. I live in the US and in the Florida. All of these festivals sound fun! :)

Haha another festival invention. Some of my female friends love them others hate... guess its a try and see thing.

If anyone is wondering just gogole it (or peemate) - It's basically a funnel so you can pee with the guys! :P
