Thanks Honor! So happy to hear people are starting school soon! It's such a shame when schools drop out, but it can't be helped. Things are still happy and hectic, takes time to settle into an new job, but most people have been so helpful and friendly.

Good news is that I've heard today that all the guys who were stranded in Beijing because of schools dropping out are all going to be in their new placements by Monday - so they'll be getting stuck into teaching soon too.

Rozel - i'm glad your first lessons went well! Yes, the students aren't as well behaved as I had expected either. That's great that you have a group to hang out with! I'm quite jealous : ) I'm going to go to a teacher training tonight strictly for the reason of hoping to meet some people.

Have you been given a curriculum? It appears that you haven't either. Perhaps we could share lesson ideas. : D

Thanks Rin! :-) So far I just love everything, love being in China and teaching. Such a strange feeling, being so far away from home living such a different life, but that is just what I wanted. It helps being placed with a great bunch of people - 6 of us altogether, plus so many teachers who speak English too. Making the most of the moments! Things will soon start to be routine...
