Brave to live in Tokyo? I was there for a few weeks last year and thought it was absolutely amazing place!

A decision like this is supposed to scare the hell out of you, im in a similar boat! But hey thats what we want a break from the norm right? :)

Hello, if you're looking to teach English in Japan then you will be placed where the schools need you as a general rule. You can always express a preference if you want to live somewhere in particualr but it isn't guaranteed. I thought I was going to live in Hiroshima and ended up in Niigata, but I loved it!

The best thing to do is to try and embrace whatever comes your way, it's all an adventure.
