Comments - Finding work in South America

PS, At my school many teachers dont speak Spanish as the directors are British and Canadian.  It would help for other institutions though. Canadian sells itself by only using native English speakers as teachers.

Hi, you can apply to Canadian House Center through i-to-i but most schools here (Ecuador) dont advertise online.  If you are here it would help to speak Spanish and have a good certificate as you will have a little trouble with work visa otherwise.  You may have to blag it a bit on the visa front, but dont worry about that.  There are plenty of English schools here and you can just go around with your CV looking for work.  You can also look for private students either individually or at companies.  Kallen was at one time teaching employees at Coca cola in Guayaquil.
