Comments - How a passport plays importance on getting a job..
thanks :-) im glad its not just me imaging that. im similar in liking the unusual countries, like middle east, south america and asia. Two places that appeal to me based on historical information i know about and their religious importance are: Iraq and Palestine lol! obviously unlikely i will be able to travel to any of them but i do find them appealing :-) probs best stick with Jordan,Lebanon and Turkey for this decade! Thats good Americans find it hard to come to europe lol and its starting to be the same for British going to America, at least that gives people of some of hash realities many people have to face in this world.
@Mugenyiz Why do you laugh?
hehe
Unfortunately, it's true.
I'm not a big fan of Westernized countries. This is why I'm glad it's harder for a US citizen to work in EU countries. I don't want to work in EU countries anyway. Serbia and Ukraine and Russia, the countries I have wanted to work in the most aren't EU and are quite anti-West. The West can be nice, but it's power hungry. And the issue with passports in the Gulf countries I know to be true first/second hand. My boyfriend's godmother works in Kuwait and has told me horror stories of what people can get away with there based solely on what your passport and skin color are. That's why I like to travel though and go to the countries that people think badly of.... and then witness things good or bad first hand and blog about it. I like to disprove the rumors, especially with Slavic nations as for centuries my people have been disgraced for the good of the West. I understand your frustration. :)
