Comments - Debaiting if I should get my bachelors degree...
Hey Cody,
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you do need at least a bachelor's degree to teach in Japan. This is government requirment in order to get your working visa work legally so there's not really any way around it unfortunately. For more information you might want to chat to Paul who teaches in Japan at the minute: http://www.onlinetefl.com/tefl-chalkboard/pdixon
All is not lost though! There are loads of great places you can teach without a degree, such as China, Indonesia and the Czech Republic. There's a handy list here that might help you: http://www.onlinetefl.com/tefl-chalkboard/travel-guides/135-Do-I-Need-a-Degree-to-TEFL-
Any questions let me know - but I'd be wary of any course provider who's promising you a job in Japan and may not be able to deliver!
