Oooh you're so lucky. You hear so many bad things about apartments, hagwons etc

I will be making the journey to Korea in about three weeks. I am nervous, excited, scared and thrilled all at the same time! One of my biggest concerns is having enough money when I get there to get settled in and everything. Any advice on how much to bring, what to pack, etc?

Wow - i'm so incredibly jealous!! :)  that all sounds amazing-well done!!  South Korea is where i'd like to go i think; but pretty much like everyone else i was worried that i'd get dumped in a hole!  But your blog has made me much more confident about the whole thing!

And it's great that you're making friends so easily - that's another thing i was a bit concerned about; but then, i'm a chatterbox who will chat rubbish to anyone that'll listen, so hopefully i'd be fine!

It sounds brill :) who did you go through to get the job? I've heard a lot of horror stories about hagwons but how do you find them?

I'm looking at South Korea but I'm not sure yet, how are you finding it?
