Hi Katie! Good to hear it is all going well for you - ah i remember having the 'oh god, what am i doing?!' feeling myself before i left for China, but being nervous before a big adventure is only natural, and everything will work out over there i am sure!

Haha my backpack is pretty heavy but i managed to get it just under the limit somehow! I think the trick is to not bring too big a suitcase/bag - because whatever size you have, you'll fill it!

I'm in Vancouver now and really enjoying it. So different to China, but i think i needed a change.

Well I have my flights booked, am in the middle of completing my vacinations and getting my visa sorted. arrive in China 17 August and am just starting to say OMG what on earth am I doing!!! i'm excited but also a tad nervous.

My main concern atm is HOW on earth am I going to pack everything and meet the bagggage restrictions!!!!
