Now that is how you get results, i love the structure you used and i'm glad you posted it here as i'm sure it will come into good use for many more people who might find themselves in that same predicament. I hope if i ever find myself in that same boat to hopefully be able to imply some of what you used to get them back on track.

Thanks everyone!!!  I've gotta give my parents some credit they used a similar system with me when i was younger to get me to do my chores and the prize, pocket money.  The system can also be adapted for larger classes splitting the group into teams, peer pressure is a good way to get bad students to behave!!!

Wow, you really know what you're doing.  Discipline is an area I really don't have a clue on.  But I'll try and take the advice from this blog. 

The star system sounds brilliant - really good idea for keeping control.
