Hey Laura,
That's great - you getting excited yet?
In terms of flights it's totally up to you - if you're not planning to do any travelling after you finish your internship you probably want to book a return date; however if you're interested in travelling after you finish teaching you might want to book an open return or even just a single - just depends on what your plans are.

Hey Laura,
Congratulations on finsihing your course - because you're on the internship you'll get it after you get back from China, as it'll include details of the teaching practice you get as part of your internship.
With heading off to China, I'll be honest - it is really scary, but it's totally worth it too! I had really bad culture shock for the first few weeks (everthing is really different), but after that started having an amazing time. Remember too that you'll be heading out there with hundreds of other fellow interns, will be placed with at least one other person and will have the help of TTC if you need extra support. Much better to go out there and at least say you tried it, rather than always wonder what it!
Hope that helps a bit - genuinely I would say go - and whatever happens you'll have some amazing stories to tell!
Hiya,
Welcome to Chalkboard and congratulations on starting your course - where are you hoping to teach?
To get you started on the site you should check out the groups to chat to ppl who are teaching abroad at the minute: http://www.onlinetefl.com/tefl-chalkboard/groups - always good for getting an idea of what it's like!
